University Health to Acquire Former CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Medical Center in $71 Million Deal

University Health has announced a $71 million agreement to acquire the former CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Medical Center located in San Antonio. The facility, which was shuttered earlier this year by CHRISTUS Health as part of a strategic consolidation, will now come under new ownership. The 174-bed hospital, along with two medical office buildings, spans 236,000 square feet over four stories. This acquisition marks a significant move for University Health as it seeks to expand its healthcare services in the region, with the deal expected to finalize by late this year.
