University of Kentucky police warn fans about rise in ticket scams for home games
LEXINGTON, Ky. —
University of Kentucky police are warning Wildcat football fans to be cautious when buying tickets for the next big game at Kroger Field.
The school said scammers are increasingly offering counterfeit or nonexistent tickets online.

In other cases, they'll take payment and then won't provide any tickets in return.
Kentucky is encouraging fans to purchase tickets through official ticket sites and to be wary of deals that seem too good to be true.
The Wildcats' next matchup is Saturday afternoon at Kroger Field.
Kentucky will be taking on South Alabama.
That game is set to kick off at 12:45 p.m.
