University of Wyoming hosts youth basketball camp in Casper On Saturday, the University of Wyoming's basketball coaching staff and players conducted a comprehensive basketball camp at the WYO Sports Ranch in Casper. The event attracted participants from 4th to 8th grade, offering skill development sessions and competitive drills. Head coaches Sundance Wicks and Heather Ezell led sessions focusing on shooting techniques and ball-handling skills, demonstrating proper form and engaging campers with video analysis. Local high school teams, including Wyoming Indian High School, participated in drills under the guidance of UW coaches, fostering community engagement and skill enhancement. The camp provided an excellent opportunity for young athletes to learn from top college coaches and players, promoting basketball development in the region.
