ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council (MAELC) is now accepting applications for its grant program, offering up to $250,000 to support programming for agriculture, food and natural resources (AFNR) education.
Designed to bolster programming at both the K-12 and post-secondary levels, the grants provide funding for projects that align with the 2030 Minnesota AFNR Education Blueprint. Applicants may request between $1,500 and $25,000 per project.
“Investing in agricultural education is an investment in the future of Minnesota,” said Sarah Dornink, Executive Director of MAELC. “These grants provide educators with the resources and support needed to bring innovative, hands-on learning into their classrooms. By supporting teachers and expanding opportunities for students, we’re helping the next generation better understand agriculture, food and natural resources and its vital role in Minnesota.”
