COLUMBIA, SC(WSPA)-South Carolina All-American defensive end Dylan Stewart and transfer offensive tackle Jacarrius Peake, regarded as a high-level NFL prospect in his own right, are listed as 'probable' on the Wednesday Southeastern Conference availability report ahead of Saturday's SEC opener against visiting Mississippi State.

Each has missed significant time due to injuries and both recently returned to a full practice routine. Shane Beamer referred questions about each player's status Tuesday to the Wednesday report. A scenario that each would be held for opening games, and expected wins, over Kent State and Towson, seemed to be most likely coming out of preseason camp.

South Carolina (2-0) begins a nine-game SEC schedule after going 1-7 in conference play last season in the final year of an eight-game conference slate.
