UWing Simulation introduced its advanced eVTOL full-flight simulator at the 2025 International Advanced Air Mobility Expo held in Shanghai from July 23 to 26. The event, themed "Launching the Low-Altitude Economy, Empowering Thousands of Industries," showcased innovations in UAVs, eVTOLs, and aviation simulation, attracting nearly 300 exhibitors and over 55,000 visitors.
Designed for next-generation low-altitude pilot training, UWing's simulator features a full-scale enclosed cockpit with dual-screen avionics and a Garmin G5 backup instrument. Its control system employs a three-axis fly-by-wire stick and high-precision Hall sensors for accurate feedback. A six-cylinder motion platform simulates various in-flight sensations, including pitch, roll, and yaw.
The system incorporates proprietary software with custom flight dynamics models and a domestic visual engine, generating realistic low-altitude environments through satellite imagery, detailed 3D urban models, and dynamic weather simulations. The instructor station enables scenario customization, real-time GPS tracking, and multiple glide path configurations, supporting both standard and emergency training scenarios.
