WYALUSING — The Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating an act of vandalism that damaged the grounds at Wyalusing’s Creekside Park on Thursday, Sept. 17.
The damage was discovered by borough public works crews early the next day.
According to Public Works Supervisor Bruce Pitts, it appears that vehicles left the eastablished roadway within the park and destroyed several feet of cut lawn.
“This is not the first occurrence of vandalism in the park,” said Pitts. “The beautiful community park is used heavily by the community.”
