Basecamp Research has raised an oversubscribed $140 million Series C led by S32, with investors including NVIDIA, NATO Innovation Fund, Anthropic’s Anthology Fund, True Ventures, Redalpine, Singular, Catalio Capital Management and The Rockefeller Foundation. Co-founder and CEO Glen Gowers leads the London- and Boston-based company. Basecamp combines its EDEN biological foundation models with the proprietary Trillion Gene Atlas, built using biological data from more than 30 countries. The capital will train new EDEN models and advance AI-designed therapeutics, beginning with in-vivo cell therapy. S32 general partner Andy Conrad, formerly CEO of Google’s Verily, will join Basecamp’s board.
