Venice, Italy, is set to welcome its next ultra-luxury hotel, situated within a historic 15th-century palazzo just a short walk from the city's iconic quay. After an extensive eight-year renovation, the Orient Express Palazzo Donà Giovannelli is scheduled to open its doors. Led by architect and interior designer Aline Asmar d’Amman, this boutique hotel masterfully combines the building's historical charm with modern elegance, providing a sophisticated hospitality experience in Venice's city center. The property features 47 uniquely designed suites, guest rooms, grand salons, and gathering spaces that seamlessly fuse the palazzo's rich heritage with the distinctive style of the Orient Express brand. Currently, the Orient Express La Minerva in Rome is serving guests, marking the brand's debut in the city. This opening follows the recent launch of the La Dolce Vita Orient Express rail journey. Reservations for stays at Palazzo Donà Giovannelli will be available starting April 1, 2026.
