Video: Chilly weather overnight

A cool but quiet stretch early this week before our next chance of showers arrives on Thursday.

The wind lightens with clear skies tonight. Lows for most will be in the 40s, but a frost advisory is posted for Coos County until 8:00 a.m. Tuesday with lows in the 30s by morning. With patchy frost possible, sensitive plants may be damaged or killed, so cover them up or bring them indoors.

After the chilly start, Tuesday looks dry and pleasant with plenty of sunshine and seasonably cool highs again around 70 degrees.

Temperatures trend warmer by Wednesday with some spots getting closer to 80 degrees south. Then, shower chances return by Thursday with a cooling trend towards the weekend.
