Imagine driving down a residential street at night and accidentally crashing into parked car with so much force that it flips your vehicle upside down. Many would just be relieved that they’re still alive and appreciate any help from the residents in the area. But one man in California decided not to do that and instead tried to flee from the scene on foot. His attempt to run away from his problems didn’t last very long, though, as the owners of the parked car chased after him.

On September 20 at around 9:45 p.m., an unnamed male driver in La Mesa was caught on camera driving his silver vehicle straight into rear left side of a parked blue car, causing the driver to flip upside down as his vehicle came to a halt, as shown in a report by CBS 8.
Michael Garrod, the owner of the blue car, and his girlfriend were startled out of bed from the sound of the impact outside. “I looked out the big front window,” Garrod said, “and I just see a car upside down, flipped over right out front.”
