Though Matt Barnes wrapped up a solid NBA career by winning a ring in his final season with the Golden State Warriors, he spent much of his journey playing the role of the ultimate journeyman enforcer.
First, in 2009, he joined the ranks of the Orlando Magic right after they lost the NBA Finals to the Los Angeles Lakers, only to join the Lakers in 2010 immediately after they won the Finals against the Boston Celtics.
He spent two years in California, where he developed a special bond with Derek Fisher. It was a relationship that was on great terms all the way until 2015, when Barnes found out that Fisher had hooked up with his ex-wife, Gloria Govan, with whom he shared a turbulent past and two twin children.
