JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Here are the nominees for the Yarnell’s Sweetest Play of the Week from Northeast Arkansas games played on September 18, 2026.

Forrest City

Nominee #1 is Forrest City. Kendrick Patterson rolling and throwing, Lacorian Smith with the snag and score. The Mustangs beat Rivercrest 50-24 in the Game of the Week to start 3-0.

Paragould

Nominee #2 is Paragould. Zack Flowers RPO action and drops a dime, Hunter Burk with the big touchdown reception. The Rams roll at Trumann 42 - 6.

Cedar Ridge

Our final nominee is Cedar Ridge. The Timberwolves go double handoff, Dawson Engles slashes inside and outside for the score. The reigning 8-Man state champions start 4-0, they beat Rose Bud 60-30.
