Safe Tap Water Restored in Granada Hills and Porter Ranch
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power announced on Tuesday that tap water in Granada Hills and Porter Ranch is now safe for consumption. This follows a boil-water advisory impacting over 9,200 customers, which has now been lifted.
Water Quality Confirmation and Consumer Instructions
DWP confirmed the water met safety standards after comprehensive testing by the California Division of Drinking Water. To compensate for the inconvenience, affected households received a $20 bill credit.

Janisse Quiñones, LADWP CEO, expressed gratitude for residents' patience during the repair process, stating, "We appreciate our customers' cooperation as we restored safe drinking water to these communities." She added that collaboration with regulators ensured water quality was reestablished properly.<...
