A Macon mother is remembering her 15-year-old son as the "life of the party" after he was shot and killed Friday evening inside a Unionville home. Now, the family of LaKendrick Banks is pleading for whoever pulled the trigger to come forward.
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded around 5 p.m. Friday to reports of a shooting on the 600 block of Grosso Avenue in Macon's Unionville neighborhood . When they arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy inside a home.
Deputy Coroner Luann Stone pronounced the teen dead at the scene. The sheriff's office later identified him as Banks. As of Monday, investigators have not released any information about a suspect or what led up to the shooting.

"My son was very respectful, he made everybody laugh. He was like me, life of the party," Easley said.
