Things are heating up across Grady County as the 2026 football season gets underway.
Week 2 of the Oklahoma high school football season wrapped up Friday across Grady County with a handful of exciting matchups. Chickasha started the season 2-0 for the first time since 2018, while Tuttle fell short in a state championship rematch.
Week 3 has even more excitement in store. Bridge Creek and Chickasha will look to keep their perfect records intact, while Tuttle and Blanchard have their sights set on bounce-back performances.

Chickasha Fightin’ Chicks 2-0 (4A Dist. 2)
Week 2: Chickasha ran up the scoreboard once again in a 52-26 win at Lone Grove. In Week 1, the Fightin’ Chicks torched Woodward through the air. But in Week 2, their running backs paved the way on the ground.
Running backs Kylen Miller and Quinton Benitez combined for five of Chickasha’s eight touchdowns. Benitez opened the game with a two-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter, his first of two scores, while Miller finished with three, including a 26-yard rushing touchdown that put the game on ice.
