Weibo Corporation (NASDAQ:WB) Experiences Notable Rise in Short Selling Activity In July, Weibo Corporation saw a substantial surge in short interest. As of July 15th, short positions amounted to approximately 15.67 million shares, marking a remarkable 175.9% increase from the 5.68 million shares recorded at the end of June. With an average daily trading volume of 1.04 million shares, the current short interest ratio stands at 15.1 days. Institutional investors have recently adjusted their holdings in Weibo. Krane Funds Advisors LLC increased its stake by 25.1% in the first quarter, now owning over 4.33 million shares valued at around $41 million. Similarly, Vanguard Group Inc. expanded its position by 1.9%, holding nearly 2.81 million shares worth approximately $26.85 million.
