Wetumpka softball star Bailey Carlisle earns North-South All-Star selection

Wetumpka's Bailey Carlisle shines on the softball field, earning her a spot in the North-South All-Star game held at Lagoon Park on Wednesday. As the sole representative from Wetumpka, she showcased her talents among Alabama's best players. Since her sophomore year, Carlisle has been a key player on her varsity team. Last season, her junior year, she made significant contributions both offensively and defensively, excelling as a shortstop and leading her team in multiple offensive categories. Coach Daryl Otwell praised her achievements, highlighting her dedication to improving her batting skills and her overall athletic prowess. "Bailey's athleticism is remarkable—she's quick, strong, and has a sharp eye at the plate," he commented.
