Sept. 25 (UPI) -- The White House press pool resumed television coverage Friday, one week after President Donald Trump banned three news organizations from a presence at the building.
The decision came after U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly of the District of Columbia ruled that the outlets -- CNN, MS Now and Politico -- must be allowed in the White House.
A press pool report Friday indicated that CBS had resumed its place in the rotation of five news outlets that provide TV coverage, Politico reported . In that rotation is also ABC, CNN, Fox News and NBC.
Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement "The plan is to return to covering the president in a normal capacity with a full crew," the pool report read.
After Trump ordered that CNN, MS Now and Politico reporters wouldn't be allowed inside the White House to cover the executive branch, the five outlets in the TV pool decided not to provide video coverage at the White House at all.
This meant there wasn't high-quality audio or video coverage of some major events this week, The Guardian reported.
