Windows 11 Insider Preview Builds 26200.5733 and 26120.5733 Bring File Explorer Enhancements and Fixes

Microsoft has released Windows 11 Build 26200.5733 to the Dev Channel, targeting version 25H2, with updates focused on File Explorer, Search settings, and system fixes. Simultaneously, Build 26120.5733 has been made available in the Beta Channel for version 24H2, featuring similar enhancements. Notably, both builds introduce an improved File Explorer that displays user icons under the "Activity" column in the "Recommended" section on the Home page, a feature limited to users with work or school Entra IDs. Additionally, the "Manage or clear your Bing search history" option has been removed from Search settings, redirecting users to the Privacy dashboard for management. The updates also address various issues, including crashes in the Start menu, Taskbar, Lock Screen, and input gestures, alongside fixes for disappearing pinned apps and display inconsistencies in dark mode File Explorer. Known issues persist, such as potential update rollback errors and app crashes caused by specific DLL files. Users enrolled in the Windows Insider Program can obtain these builds via the respective channels through the Windows Update settings.
