SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - The U.S. Coast Guard named the Saginaw River Station in Essexville as one of six stations nationwide that will return to full operations next year, after operating at reduced capacity since 2024 due to workforce shortages. Lawmakers and sexual assault survivors are reacting to the Michigan Supreme Court’s reasoning for removing about 20,000 names from the sex offender registry.
