Jim Agnew Women’s Tennis Opens Fall with Two Titles at Tribe Invite 9/13/2026 9:12:00 PM By: Trevor Rich Box Score WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary women's tennis opened its 2026 fall season with a pair of titles at the Tribe Invite over the weekend at the Mackesy Tennis Center at the Millie West Courts and the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center. Freshman Nicole Lukesova highlighted the Tribe's singles effort, winning the Grey Singles Draw in her collegiate debut. Sophomore Tilda Larsson and freshman Medha Chandana added a doubles crown, teaming up to win the Griffin Doubles Draw. Lukesova went 3-0 in singles action, opening with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over North Carolina Central's Journee Henderson. She followed with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Penn's Emma Tomova before defeating Richmond's Maddy Kroupetski, 6-4, 6-4, in the championship match. Larsson and Chandana received an opening-round bye in doubles before defeating Richmond's Kroupetski and Daniela O'Leary, 7-5, in the semifinals. The Tribe tandem topped North Carolina Central's Gabriela Mejia Arenas and Henderson, 6-2, in the championship match.
