WVU WR DJ Epps Cracks Watch List for Prestigious Award
A big part of Mike Hawkins’ success in the passing game, DJ Epps earned inclusion in a national watch list.
Epps was named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, honoring the best wide receiver in the country.
With 22 receptions for 556 yards and five touchdowns, Epps has clearly emerged as WVU’s clear No. 1 receiver, a position that wasn’t solidified after fall camp.
He posted career-highs against Cincinnati, catching eight passes for 163 yards.
Listed at 5-foot-11 and 186 pounds, wide receiver DJ Epps, who came to West Virginia from Troy, committed to WVU on Jan. 6 on the heels of an official visit.
