WWE Discontinues Post-Event Press Conferences Following Major Pay-Per-View Events
In an update to its traditional post-show format, WWE has ceased hosting press conferences after major events like SummerSlam. Instead, the company now features interviews with backstage personnel and performers, with WWE executive Paul 'Triple H' Levesque joining to provide event recaps. Media representatives were informed ahead of time that no press conference would take place after SummerSlam.
Previously, press conferences served as platforms for questions on various topics, including legal issues like Janel Grant’s sex trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon, allegations involving Ronda Rousey and Drew Gulak, and discussions about representation at WWE's premium live events. The change marks a shift in WWE’s communication strategy and response to ongoing public and media interest.
