WWE Trademarks 'The Vision' Amidst Recent SummerSlam Events

WWE has taken steps to secure exclusive rights to a new term by filing a trademark application. During the first night of SummerSlam on July 2nd, Seth Rollins strategically cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase against CM Punk shortly after Punk's victory over Gunther for the WWE World Championship. Rollins then disclosed that his recent knee injury was part of a ruse, and he was joined by his allies, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, following their victory over Punk. This development suggests the possible formation or naming of a new faction. On August 2nd, WWE submitted a trademark application for the phrase ‘The Vision,’ intended for entertainment services related to professional wrestling performances, live events, broadcasts on television and radio, internet streaming, and online content. The application also covers services like wrestling news dissemination, fan club organization, social entertainment events, and online publications within the sports entertainment industry. Additionally, WWE has recently filed to trademark the term ‘SuperBrawl,’ further expanding their portfolio of branded terms associated with their entertainment offerings.
