HMMPL to host art exhibit — Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library will host 15 pieces of artwork from the Indiana State Bar Association’s Courthouse Artwork Collection,
featuring county courthouses from across Indiana. The opening reception is from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 12 in the Lora Hussey Room. The exhibit includes courthouses from Boone, Clinton, Carroll, Cass, Hamilton, Hendricks, Marion, Montgomery, Morgan, Parke, Putnam, Tipton, Tippecanoe, Vigo and White counties. Local attorney Douglas Church and his daughter, attorney Julia Kozicki, collected the pieces that represent all 92 Indiana county courthouses. They’ll speak and share stories.
